The Tascam is connected by USB 2.0 btw so it should be able to record multi-outs. If I can figure this out then later on when I want to record multiple channels on separate tracks in Mixcraft I'll be able to do it. I have my MS 20 Mini connected to channel 2 of the mixer and I want to be able to record that on it's own and the loop from my Zoom G3 on a separate channel so I can mix them afterwards in Mixcraft. So I guess that's why I hear sound from those channels as I'm hearing the effects sound. At the moment I have my Zoom G3X connected to AUX 1 so I can use it's looper and effects on each of the mixers channels and AUX 2 is the mixer's built-in effects. All of the individual channels (1-10) don't produce any sound (even with input monitoring turned on) but AUX 1/2 does and so does the last stereo channel (main stereo out channel of the mixer). On each audio track I have the same options again for selecting the input only each input is subdivided into stereo, left channel or right channel. I don't know why inputs 11/12, 13/14 and 15/16 aren't available though. I will attach pictures of what I see on-screen. I have set Mixcraft to use the ASIO drivers of the Tascam but I don't know what to choose as the default recording device input as I want to record multiple inputs. It's very confusing and the manual doesn't really go into detail about using a computer other than showing you how install the drivers and use the bundled software Cubase 5 LE. I have the manual for it and have everything set up right but I can't really get independent channels out of the mixer, just a standard stereo mix. I have a Tascam M-164UF and you can record up to 16 channels independently on your computer with it, this is the main reason I bought it. Hi everyone, I am looking for some help using my new audio interface/mixer with Mixcraft Pro Studio 7.
